I feel somewhat selfish since it's the 24th of November and I haven't publicly been thankful for anything this month. You see all the FaceBook statuses and the Tweets and when you realize that you haven't been doing that you can't decide if that's a blessing or a curse. Sure, it saves everyone from having to constantly know what you're thankful for but it also doesn't help with the fact that 20 years from now I won't remember what I was thankful for in 2013. So without further adieu, here are 13 things of what I am most thankful for in 2013.
1. Family. At the end of the day if you don't have something worth fighting for than there really is nothing worth living for. I am thankful for my parents and their sacrifices, I am thankful for my brothers and their support, I am thankful for my Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, and cousins who are always there when I need them and who show me loving support daily.
2. Good Health. This year has been a tough one for the Forsyth's when it comes to sickness. From mom's cancer, to Dylan's stomach problems, to my kidney infection, to three of us having the flu, I can happily say that we all our back in good health.
3. BYU. There will never be a day where I will regret the education I am receiving at BYU. It has been the biggest blessing in my life and I couldn't be more lucky to attend a University where I get to grow closer to Christ while gaining secular knowledge.
4. Friends. I have made some fantastic friends this year. From roommates to coworkers to all the people in between I could not be more lucky to have found the greatest support system ever. Life is so much easier when there are at least a few people that go above and beyond to show that they love you.

5. My job. I am always grateful for my job with Provo School District as an online aide. I get to work around my school schedule, work with great people, and I get to gain knowledge that will be helpful for my future as an EL ED teacher. I love the eSchool!
6. Sweets and Treats. It seems that a day doesn't go by where I don't indulge myself with sweets or treats. From randomly baking when I'm bored or visiting the Sweet Tooth Fairy on a bad day nothing makes me as happy as something sweet.
7. My car. Maybell (my car) will forever be one of my biggest blessings. Even though I drive a 1999 Camry she has certainly taken me places. She drove me to Utah and here she continues to be an easy way to get the things done I need to get done. I love that I have the freedom to do what I want, when I want.
8. FaceTime. I have many days where I miss home. Just kidding, every single day I miss home. I have been blessed and I am grateful for FaceTime. I get to see my family whenever I want without being there in person. Thank Heaven for technology.
9. Sunshine. I'm a Florida girl forever and I hate winter in Utah. It's hard and dreary and I miss the sunshine!
10. Changes. I know this is an odd thing to be thankful for, but this year I have been put through a lot of changes. I am not always accepting of change but this year I am grateful for the changes I have been put through.
11. Naps. Does this really need an explanation other than the fact that I'm a working college student?
12. Insurance of all kinds. This year I got in my first car accident and I got my first CT scan. I am grateful for insurance because without it, let's face it, i'd be broke.
13. Jesus Christ and the Gospel. I love the relationship I have with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I am grateful for the atonement and that through Jesus Christ all my sins can be forgiven. I am eternally thankful.
