This is my goal of my three weeks in Utah. I found this jar in my grandma's house that allows you to tell your life story by picking a slip of paper with a question on it from the jar and to write down the answers.
Monday-Describe my yard as a child & did I help with yard work.
Technically I grew up with the same yard I'm living with now, so this is easy. I live on 5 acres of beautiful country land. The front of the house has St. Augustine grass that my parents planted soon after the house was built. This is also around the back of the house for a bit until you get to the normal field grass. I love the thickness of the grass and the way it smells right after it's been mowed. The house is surrounded by flowerbeds that my mother has tried to keep decent over the years. We have a nice big garden every year and as much as I hate planting and harvesting it, I really do love the outcome of having fresh foods. I help with the yard work but most of the time not willingly. I LOVE to mow though, which is weird.
Tuesday-Do you wish you had more brothers and sisters?
Every now and then I do wish I had more siblings. Then again, I don't think I could handle having a sister. Being the only girl has had its benefits and I am thankful for that. I do always wish my family was bigger, but now that we are all older I am thankful for the family I have.
Wednesday-What is the worst thing that has ever happened to you?
Thankfully I am only 18, and the trials I have faced haven't been the most devastating. I can't think of the worst thing that has ever happened to me. My trials have been for my benefit and have made me stronger. I wouldn't take those back for anything.
Thursday-What are my goals and dreams?
The most important goals in my life are to live a life that is pleasing to my Heavenly Father, and to have my own eternal family. I always have talked about how amazing the day will be when I, myself, am a mother. I will look into that gorgeous baby's eyes and know that I will have them forever. There is something beautiful in the way a child can warm the soul. I will be so blessed to have that chance someday.
